This gas tank is based on the timeless peanut gas tank found on early Harley-Davidson Sportster motorcycles. This is a great, affordable option for use on a custom bobber or chopper of any make and model. This is a Frisco mount version, which means it has a shallow tunnel and sits up high on the backbone of the frame. It accepts a bayonet (a.k.a. cam style) Harley type gas cap. This tank features multiple options for the fuel valve / petcock. There is a single 3/8 inch NPT bung midway on the right-hand side (as if seated on the bike), and dual 1/4 inch NPT petcock bungs further down near the rear of the tank.
